A pencil drawing of pyramids, some moving off the ground. One pyramid has a staircase in it, there is a hole in the ground with a staircase leading down
A pencil drawing of my dog, Basil, who died in September last year. We miss him very much. The drawing is far from perfect, but mistakes are a great learning opportunity (I have lots of learning opportunities!)
I used this photo, I took in May 2019 for today’s drawing:
A photo of our beautiful dog, Basil
I changed the angle of it, in the drawing because he is next to the drawing I did a few days ago of our other dog, Minty:
This shows the drawing I did today (of our dog Basil) is on the same paper as the drawing I did of our other dog Minty. Minty is on the left, Basil on the right
My drawing was soundtracked by the 2021 album Denis Was A Bird by Tom Rosenthal. I’m looking forward to listening to the latest episode of his Strangers On A Bench podcast (my favourite weekly podcast).
A pencil drawing of a couple of (space?) craft that have arms coming out of holes on their sides, trees grow from platforms. There are also cats and dogs on platforms coming out of holes on the roof.
It snowed overnight but has melted now. It was beautiful this morning though. This is a photo I took this morning. My dog sits on a snow covered bridge
A pencil drawing of my dog, Minty. He is half border collie, half terrior
Today, I drew a picture of my dog, Minty. I used this photo (taken by me) from 2019 as a guide, but changed it a bit. I might add Basil (sadly not with us anymore 😭) later
A picture of two dogs, one black and white (looking a bit like a Muppet in this photo) and one gingery-gold
