Day 021: Draw Every Day in 2025

Good morning everyone!

Cold and frosty. A nice half moon hung in the blue sky when I walked the dog. Love seeing the moon in daylight.

A pencil drawing, with a mouse popping up from a hole in the foreground. In the background another mouse waves from another hole

Today’s drawing is based on the YouTube tutorial: Mark Kistler LIVE: Episode 258 and was soundtracked by the 2016 album Crippling Lack by David Thomas Broughton.

I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Day 017: Draw Every Day in 2025

Good morning everyone!

A lovely fresh start to the day. It’s cold but clear and frost sparkles in the sun. The moon is simply wonderful in the pale blue of the morning sky.

Today, I drew a bottle I had on my table.

My drawing was sountracked by the album The Complete Kismet Acoustic by Jesca Hoop

It’s market day in our town. I’ve been out for our weekly supply of artisanal bread (I cut it and freeze it and it lasts all week), and some cakes from our favourite cake maker!

I hope you have a fantastic Friday and are looking forward to a wonderful weekend!

Day 016: Draw Every Day in 2025

Good morning everyone!

It’s a bit slippy out today: black ice.

Not as cold as the last few days but it’s damp, so feels colder.

A pencil drawing of someone standing on a block lifting another block above their head. Someone is on top of the top block and is peering over the edge in fear.

Today’s drawing is based on a tutorial from “Drawing in 3D with Mark Kistler” and was sountracked by two albums by Angelo de AugustineTomb and Toil and Trouble

I hope your Thursday is good to you!

Day 015: Draw Every Day in 2025

Good morning all!

Another crisp start to the day. I like it when it’s cold and dry. The sparkling frost hugging the ground and the moon hanging in the clear sky. Stood for a moment with my dog and took a deep breath.

A pencil drawing of a mouse, with a full belly, lying against a partially eaten block of holey cheese

Today’s drawing is based on a lesson from Drawing in 3D with Mark Kistler

My drawing was sountracked by I Will Love by AbimaroFeeding Seahorses By Hand by Billie Marten and Bimbling by Martha Tilston

Day 014: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

It was a chilly -9°C, here in central France, when I walked the dog at 9am… Nice and sunny 🌞 though. And the almost-full moon hung in the crisp, clear sky

A pencil drawing of a dragon

Today, I drew this dragon based on a Mark Kistler Tutorial. Check Out his YouTube channel for lessons.

My drawing was sountracked by Radio 6Music today.

Today, I drew these robots based on a video lesson by Mark Kistler! Check Out Mark’s YouTube channel for this lesson and many more.

My drawing was sountracked by Under Mountains an album by Rachel Sermanni and also the album Jubilee Road by Tom Odell
