Day 025: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

A pencil drawing of our beloved dog, Basil. Yesterday, marked 5 months since we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Basil,so I thought I’d draw him this morning.

As a reference, I used a picture I took of him in July 2020. He was with us for 13 years: it wasn’t long enough 💔

Today’s  drawing was soundtracked by the 1974 album Ode to an Oud by John Berberian, the 2021 album Jubilee by Japanese Breakfast and the 2011 album Dance For Peace by Omar Faruk Telbilek

Have a super Saturday, y’all.

Big Love and Hugs ❤️

Day 024: Draw Every Day in 2024

Hello everyone!

It’s a bit overcast today, warmer but with a bitter wind. Friday is Market day in our town, so always nice to wander around. We had a coffee in the cafe, chatted to someone we’d never met before. Sometimes it’s nice to connect with others!

A pencil drawing of a multileveled building with arches on each level. The bottom level has “marshmallow” characters peeking out of the arches

Before that, this morning, I drew this based on a tutorial by Mark Kistler “Let’s Draw À Marshmallow Hotel”. Check out his YouTube channel.. It was soundtracked by the 1989 album Doud-E-Ood by Parviz Meshkatian

Have a fantastic Friday!

Day 022: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

A pencil drawing of a “flying scroll”: a scroll (of paper or cloth?) is flying through the air. Four people are standing on the front part, clearly enjoying the ride, hair streaming out behind them

Today’s drawing is based on a tutorial by Mark Kistler (Check Out his YouTube channel) and was soundtracked by the 2025 album Someday by Ken Presse the 2024 EP Sunup by Alan Gogoll and the 2019 album, Crushing by Julia Jacklin

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Day 021: Draw Every Day in 2025

Good morning everyone!

Cold and frosty. A nice half moon hung in the blue sky when I walked the dog. Love seeing the moon in daylight.

A pencil drawing, with a mouse popping up from a hole in the foreground. In the background another mouse waves from another hole

Today’s drawing is based on the YouTube tutorial: Mark Kistler LIVE: Episode 258 and was soundtracked by the 2016 album Crippling Lack by David Thomas Broughton.

I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
