Today’s drawing is loosely based on the Freewrite prompt: simplicity. After I wrote my five minute Freewrite I had a butterfly in mind for the drawing (even though it is not directly linked to the story, I think butterflies always remind me of child-like wonder)
I made this stop frame animation back in February, but have updated it with a little New Year message.
Happy end of year
Sometimes the smallest things in life make the biggest impact! This tiny top hat is just 8.5cm tall and weighs around 4g, and costs 6euros (plus p&p). It has a hairclip sown on to the bottom which allows it to be worn with ease. Great for parties, Halloween, Christmas or just because today is worth celebrating because it has a ‘Y’ in it.

For a wedding, I was asked to create a decoration for a hat. I used the decoration on the coat that was to be worn, as inspiration.
