Day 036: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

A pencil drawing of our dog, Basil

Today I drew another picture of Basil, our beautiful dog, who died last September.

A photo of our dog, Basil, taken by me on 2017, I based my drawing on

It was soundtracked by the 2012 album Under Mountains by Rachel Sermanni and the 2022 album *Bound To Rise by Chris Brain

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Day 034: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

A pencil drawing of my dog, Basil, who died in September last year. We miss him very much. The drawing is far from perfect, but mistakes are a great learning opportunity (I have lots of learning opportunities!)

I used this photo, I took in May 2019 for today’s drawing:

A photo of our beautiful dog, Basil

I changed the angle of it, in the drawing because he is next to the drawing I did a few days ago of our other dog, Minty:

This shows the drawing I did today (of our dog Basil) is on the same paper as the drawing I did of our other dog Minty. Minty is on the left, Basil on the right

My drawing was soundtracked by the 2021 album Denis Was A Bird by Tom Rosenthal. I’m looking forward to listening to the latest episode of his Strangers On A Bench podcast (my favourite weekly podcast).

Have a marvellous Monday!

Day 033: Draw Every Day in 2025

Good morning everyone!

A pencil drawing of some “wacky” vehicles: a cube car, a cylindrical car and a triangle shaped plane

Today’s drawing is based on a tutorial by Mark Kistler (check out his YouTube channel)

It was soundtracked by the 2025 album Middle Farm Session by Daughter

It’s cold out, but bright and sunny so the frost sparkles!

Hope you have a spectacular Sunday!

Day 032: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

A pencil drawing of a couple of (space?) craft that have arms coming out of holes on their sides, trees grow from platforms. There are also cats and dogs on platforms coming out of holes on the roof.

Today’s drawing is based on a tutorial by Mark Kistler (check out his YouTube channel)

It was soundtracked by the 2016 album Sources by Levon Minassian and Armand Amar

It snowed overnight but has melted now. It was beautiful this morning though. This is a photo I took this morning. My dog sits on a snow covered bridge

Have a stupendous Saturday!

Day 030: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello everyone!

A pencil drawing of my dog, Minty. He is half border collie, half terrior

Today, I drew a picture of my dog, Minty. I used this photo (taken by me) from 2019 as a guide, but changed it a bit. I might add Basil (sadly not with us anymore 😭) later

A picture of two dogs, one black and white (looking a bit like a Muppet in this photo) and one gingery-gold

My drawing was soundtracked by the 2025 album (released today, actually!) Shimli by Welsh language musician Cynefin and 2025 album Love You All Over Again by Tunng

Have a tremendous Thursday!

Day 029: Draw Every Day in 2025

Hello all!

A pencil drawing of two cliffs with penguins on them, one penguin falls into the abyss between the cliffs. There are caves in the cliffs, penguins look out from the caves

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
