Almost one week ago we lost our lovely cat, Hobnob. Today’s Daily Drawing is a rough sketch of him. I hope to draw a better picture of him in the next few days

Day 006: Draw Every Day in 2024
I drew this, this morning.
Today’s drawing is based on a lesson from Mark Kistler’s book “Drawing in 3D with Mark Kistler”. I really recommend this book, it has hundreds of drawings with clear steps on how to draw them. I’ve almost finished it and it’s helped me break down a scene so now I don’t need the step by step instructions.
My morning drawing session was sountracked by 2 albums by Tom Odell:
Black Friday and Best Day Of My Life.
Have a fantastic Monday!

Day 002, Draw Every Day in 2025
Good morning!
It’s the second of January 2025.
I drew this, this morning:
It was based on a drawing tutorial by Mark Kistler (you can find his YouTube channel here)
While drawing, I listened to the soundtrack to the podcast Strangers on a Bench, as well as an album by the host of the podcast, Tom Rosenthal.
The podcast features some really beautiful songs, all based on the stories of the Strangers on a Bench Tom speaks to. The songs are written and performed by different singer songwriters (so a great way to discover new artists to listen to). The music is perfect to draw to.
It was a beautiful start to the day. While walking the dog, I stopped for a moment to stand and admire the earth’s art as the sun painted the sky
Have a wonderful day.
Love and Hugs ❤️
