Hoppy Flyday Everyone!
Yay! It’s Friday! Double Yay: we’re going on holiday today! A week by the sea, very much looking forward to breathing in some sea air.
We have some guests in the B&B, so have breakfasts to do, then once we have cleaned the room and packed the car we can be off.
I will have room for some wool and some needles so will be able to create some felt lovelies for your delights whilst I am away.
What are your plans for the day/weekend?
A little gift from the USA…
We have an American couple staying in the apartment. They came last year, and remembered that I like felting, so brought me some wool all the way from Georgia, USA.
As a thank you, I made this little dog, from the wool. It was unwashed, so after I felted him, I washed him in hot soapy water and he came out bright white!

How are you today? We have a full house in the B&B this morning, so after breakfast we have room re-organisation and cleaning to do.
Hope to do some felting later, but not sure what creature I will be making next.

Meet Bertie Bear!

Do you use, or have you considered using, the social network Tsu to market your Small Business?
Tsu will be celebrating it’s first birthday in October. For those who don’t know it is a social network that shares out the advertising revenue amongst the people who make the content.
People like me.
You earn money by posting (although not very much) and more if you recruit a network of people.
And, if you are a business, people can use the money they have earned to buy things from you.
It took a number of months to establish myself on Tsu before I began to have some sales. I have had a number of sales via my Etsy store from Tsu users and I have had two sales using Tsu dollars (money that other people have earned, that they have transfered to my Tsu account).
The downside? You can’t cash out your Tsu bank until it reaches at least 100$, so for small business’ it could take some time to get there. Payment is via cheque if you are a US business, or Paypal for those of us outside of the USA.
There has been a lot of talk about Tsu being a scam: it is not. Neither is it a place to make a fast buck, but you can certainly find a place to market your wares.
Now there is a group on Tsu for Small Businesses “That’s MY Business” where fellow business owners can share tips, advice, successes and quibbles.

Good morning lovely people I do hope you are all feeling fabulous this morning! The sun is shining here. We have some people in the B&B leaving and no one arriving today, so if you don’t count serving breakfast and cleaning the room it is practically a day off. Although there always could be a knock at the door, of course…
I am currently working on some more TeenyWeeniePet dragon jewellery which I will post for you later, hopefully. I really need to update Etsy (there never seems enough time in the day!): I still need to put more Halloween stuff on. I am resisting the Christmas stuff until September!
Hopefully we will get out for a nice long walk. I fancy a picnic down by the river, so we will see what happens…
